His Second Wife

A love story between Zahra and Hunayn... Hunayn being married to a beautiful lady Zahra and he loves his Zahra more than anything else but some complication arises in their relationship. He then met Izna, formed a new relationship with her but then realized that no one could take the place of Zahra as they were inseparable! Destiny then brought Izna back in front of Hunayn's door but this time it was different...

Chapter 1

Hunayn, a young business man staying at a hotel for a conference came across a young & beautiful girl. Without knowing her name, address, age, background etc Hunayn stepped forward to talk with her but that girl did not even see Hunayn back for even once.

She was Zahra, she came with her family on a holiday. She was such a simple girl, dressed in a simple way, with good manners and full of shyness made Hunayn fall for her at the first sight. Before taking any action that could lead to serious complications Hunayn preferred to have a talk with the parents of Zahra.

That is when he asked for Zahra's hand from her parents. Shocked, the parents of Zahra were in a complete dilemma thinking how this young boy could gathered such a courage to ask something like that. They were amazed by Hunayn personality. Yet they liked his honesty.

After much thoughts, they called Hunayn in their room and it was the first time Hunayn and Zahra were able to see and talk to each other face to face in front of Zahra's parents. Seeing Hunayn's simplicity, honesty and straightforwardness they agreed on the spot. And after asking Zahra's for her opinion she said she'll accept whatever her parents think is good for her.

Though Zahra's parents did not force her but she liked Hunayn at the first sight itself. Therefore, they decided to take the name of Allah and to start their new relationship together...

Hunayn was living all alone with his mother who is an entrepreneur. She was happy in the happiness of her son. So, she agreed for the wedding of Zahra and Hunayn. Both of them got married soon and they lived with Hunayn's mother in a small house.
Zahra was from an upper middle-class family she had everything she wanted, even Hunayn was from an upper middle-class family but he preferrred to live in a simple way not exaggerating.

But after their wedding some complications arised between his mother and wife. They often got clashes with each other and this would create a chaos in the house. Sometimes Zahra would not agree with the decision of her mother in law or Hunayn's mother would not understand Zahra's feelings. To avoid complicating the situation even more Hunayn decided to move into a little apartment which was offered by his company itself. Zahra made that house a 'home', she decorated every single piece of the rooms and designed it herself as she was a professional in art & design.

They lived a happy married life but Hunayn was aware about his responsibility of being a lone son of his mother. He would send money to his mother every month and he would go and visit her very often. Zahra would accompany him whenever there was a party, dinner or religious events. They would go happily and forget about their grudges.

Hunayn was very kind not only towards his mother & wife but with strangers as well. He used to help needy persons, very often he would sacrifice his own happiness just to make others happy. That was Hunayn-being happy by helping others. He never refused for anything people used to ask him. That word "NO" was not in his dictionary. He was so generous and soft-hearted.

Zahra, was a very beautiful lady with good manners. She used to read lots of Islamic books as she loved knowing more and more about Islam. She was very religious and practical about life. Zahra liked to give advices to others, obviously good ones. She was also very helpful to others. Whenever Zahra would do a good deed she would hide it because she believes in being rewarded in front of Allah rather than in front of people.

So as Hunayn and Zahra moved to their new apartment they enjoyed their new married life. Though Hunayn was only 25 and Zahra was only 22. Yet they had an awesome chemistry. They were like perfect couples.

Zahra wanted to work after their wedding but Hunayn was not ready to accept as for him a Muslim married woman should not work because a married woman is considered as Rabbatul Bait (Queen of the house). On this basis Zahra did not work but however she was a very caring wife.

She looked after the house and she liked everything to be neat and tidy so every time she would do clean-up of the whole house. Hunayn remained very busy with his work so he could barely take Zahra out and Zahra would be frustrated but she was not the type of girl who would fight for petty issues. She was so comprehensive.

After a very long period of time, Hunayn finally decided to take Zahra on a holiday to Dubai. It was a type of a late honeymoon.
But yes they did enjoy themselves very much, they roamed a lot and did so many shopping. They were so happy together.

Chapter 2

3 YEARS LATER

Zahra found out she was pregnant and she wanted to confirm it with a gynecologist so she went ahead. But there was a scary truth awaiting for her.
The doctor told her:
"Mrs.Sheikh you're indeed pregnant of 2months but however there are many complications in your pregnancy which can prove fatal for you or your babies"

Zahra shocked◇: "wait, babies???? You mean twins??? Ya Allah what a great news"

Doctor : "yes but as I just told you it can be very fatal for you or for the babies. The decision is up to you now. If you wish you can give birth to these babies or it's not too late for an abortion but unfortunately there is a great risk that you won't be able to become mother again"

Zahra: "euhhhmmm....acccc....aaaccctually I need to think over it, I will let you know in 2 days. Thank you so much. Have a nice day. Goodbye"

Doctor: "think over it for sure. Try to make a wise decision. Take care. Goodbye"

Zahra was thinking in mind that abortion is strictly haraam in Islam and she would not want to go against the nature of law. As she left the doctor's cabin, she was heading back home and she kept on thinking over and over again... what has to be done??

Zahra, in a great dilemma reached home broken and desperate. She was unable to decide what will she do but she really wished to give birth to the babies. Once Hunayn came back from work, she gathered lots of courage and guts to talk with him.

Zahra went as follows : "Hunayn my love, there is something I need to tell you"
Hunayn : "yes baby, tell me"
Zahra : "actually there is both a good and bad news"
Hunayn : "oh really. And what is it?"
Zahra took Hunayn's hands and placed it on her stomach and then said to Hunayn that he was going to be a father really soon.

Hunayn jumped out of happiness and scream that he was going to be a father. Zahra then held his hand and told him about the complications. Hunayn stood still, as if time has stopped. He was shattered. He was not able to utter a word. Tears fell down on his cheeks.

Zahra then hugged him and said to him: "my love, Almighty Allah wrote my name next to yours 50,000 years ago even before the sea was introduced to the earth, so don't despair yourself for we shall never be separate from each other". Hunayn got some courage by the words of Zahra though Zahra was shattered also.

But after seeing how Hunayn was happy about hearing the news of the babies Zahra made up her mind that she'll give birth to them for nothing is more important to her than the happiness of her husband. She prayed to God that she stay healthy so that she can stick to her decision.

Days went by, Zahra's belly started to appear more round. Hunayn devoted most of his time to Zahra and the babies. He was so compassionate towards them and cared for them. Zahra was happy thinking that she did not make any mistake because Allah will take care of her family.

Hunayn was broken but yet he did not lose faith in God. He knew nothing would happen to his dear wife but still he had some fear. Zahra was normal and cheerful, she never let those complications affect her life rather she took it very positively and continued to pray to God.

Months went by and Zahra was feeling sick and weak because of her pregnancy but Hunayn took it in a good way and he was always there encouraging Zahra and supported her in every difficult moment. They were planning for the arrival of their babies...

The delivery date of Zahra was approaching and she was quite nervous however Hunayn was always there for her and look after her very well.

One fine morning, Zahra started to have labor pain as her water bag broke, Hunayn rushed to the maternity clinic along with her. He prayed to God that both the mother and the babies are fine. After few hours in the operation theatre the doctor finally came outside to announce the arrival of 2 beautiful girls.

Hunayn felt relieved and extremely happy as he always like baby girls. He used to say that "A daughter is a daughter for the rest of her life but a son is a son till he gets himself a wife". Then the doctor told him that both the mother and the daughters are weak and need to be kept under observation for a few days.

Hunayn thanked God for the good news and went to the prayer room to offer two prayer unit for the safety of mother and the babies. His happiness knew no bound. He distributed sweets in the entire clinic. He was so happy. Then he was allow to meet Zahra. Once inside, he held Zahra's hands and assure her that she'll be okay soon as Allah does not want them to be apart from each other. Zahra got some courage.

He then let her rest while he was sitting next to her. A nurse came in and informed Hunayn that he may have a look at the babies who are in the incubators due to weakness. Hunayn went to see them from a distance and he was so delighted, as if he has got all the happiness in the world in front of him.

Soon after that, his mother and his in-laws came respectively. They were relieved after finding that everything is under control. Zahra woke up later and was feeling more comfortable after seeing her family besides her. Hunayn took care of her while she was in the clinic.

Hunayn, as usual a caring husband could not let his wife stay alone so he stayed near Zahra ever since she was in the hospital. After getting discharged and completing all the formalities Hunayn and Zahra were able to take the babies home as they were perfectly fine.

Chapter 3

Arriving at home, Hunayn took 1 baby in his arms while Zahra took the other one. They took the baby round the house and showed them where they'll be staying. Both babies smiled.

They knew only happiness. Zahra and Hunayn now decide the names of the babies and finally both agreed on the name of Aleena and Aleeza. They found that these names would shape the babies' personality. Aleena means tender and delicate while Aleeza means happiness. Indeed, both the babies were delicate and a source of happiness. There would not have been better names than these.

Hunayn prayed to God that these babies should be a great blessing for the Ummah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and that the girls should walk the right path and follow the tradition of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). For Hunayn the door of Jannah (paradise) was opened.

He then set out for the baby's shopping though he had bought the essentials very much before but now he thought he should buy something according to the baby’s gender. He went shops from shops to look for the best things for his daughters. He bought lots of soft toys and tiny clothes for girls...

Zahra was stunned after seeing the items that Hunayn brought at home. She wondered if he had bought the whole shop. But it was Hunayn happiness of being father that led to these shopping. They played with the babies, gave them affection, nourished them.

Aleena looked similar to her mother whereas Aleeza looked just like her father. Hunayn was also a very responsible father. He knew very well how to manage his time and love for both of his daughters. Zahra was herself a well-disciplined lady and a good Muslimah. She prayed 5 times daily prayers excluding her Nafil (pre-obligatory) prayers and Zikrullah (remembrance of God).

Soon the girls grew up, they started walking, talking, eating on their own and just like that 3years passed by. The girls became really adorable and pretty.

Their parents taught them how to share and care for others ever since the very young age. They inculcate the values of their parents. Aleena and Aleeza would dress up similarly and Zahra would differentiate them by their eyes as Aleeza had shiny eyes like her father.

Zahra became their mother, teacher, counsellor, doctor, cooker, cleaner, and most importantly their best friends. She was always there talking with her daughters and explaining them about petty things in life as a mother is the primary school of socialization for a child.

Time flew so fast and Hunayn and Zahra did not even realize that it was time for the girls to join primary school. Both were in the same class and took great care of each other as their parents taught them so.

The girls started learning at school and would tell their mother about their daily activity. They made their mother their sole secret keeper. Zahra gave them education in terms of Islamic Culture. She used to say that a child should not only be educated academically but also religiously because being educated Islamically can open any door of success for everyone.

On the other hand, Hunayn had to play the role of father and had to be strict with them so they know their limits but he was very loving towards them and teased them at times. That little family was really happy.

The daughters were very close to their mother but also very possessive about their father. Hunayn also found it funny the way his daughters were possessive and jealous when he would talk with his female colleagues, the girls would be upset with him. Their relationship was so fun-loving. Normally the love between a father and a daughter is forever. Hunayn managed his time for his business and family as well. He would take them for outings and vacations which made them really happy. They spent quality time together...

Most of the time Zahra would look after the kids as Hunayn remained very busy with his business but he would never miss the opportunity to flirt with his wife.

Though being husband and wife, they were more than best friends and had an awesome compatibility. They would tease each other, fight with each other and even get angry with each other. However, they were known as the "best couple" in their family.

Zahra would never have dinner without Hunayn, if Hunayn does not eat at home whether be it lunch or dinner, Zahra also would not eat. She would wait when Hunayn gets back home to eat. That was her love for Hunayn. But Hunayn frequently told her not to wait for him as he gets late quite often but Zahra would not listen to him. They were truly made for each other.

Chapter 4

Years went by and Zahra & Hunayn celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary. They invited close relatives and friends for a small party held at their house itself.

Zahra had a very close cousin, Izna who was only 18 years old. She stayed abroad with her family for about 15years because of migration, she was very modern and liked designing clothes & got studied over there. Soon she was going to join a well-known company in the field of Fashion and Design.

Izna recently came back to her motherland for holidays and Zahra invited her to the party as well. Hunayn met Izna for the first time and they were talking generally. Even Hunayn was interested in knowing the company that Izna would be working for, he thought it could be useful for his business.

Aleena and Aleeza really liked Izna and asked her to come over during her stay so that they can enjoy together. Being the twin’s aunty she could not refuse them and told them that she'll come some other day.

When the party was over, Izna got back home and at night as she was relaxing in her bed, she got a friend request from Hunayn on a social networking site 'Facebook'. She did not hesitate to accept it as she recently got to know Hunayn and thought Hunayn wanted to talk about business to her.

The main intention of Hunayn was to find out the truth of Izna as he found something strange with her, he thought maybe by talking with her, he'll be able to uncover the matter and who knows maybe Izna needed some kind of help...

Izna’s Life

Izna lived so many years in a foreign country and she grew up over there itself. She absorbed the norms of that country.

Though her parents were very reserved and pious Izna turned out to be very different while staying in Australia, she was carefree, she liked partying late night and having fun with friends was her daily routine.

Her parents were also helpless as there was freedom of choice in that country and they feared if they interfered in Izna's life they might lose her forever. Izna did not share much about her private life with anyone as she believed in solving her problems by herself.

She would not care about coming home late and sometimes staying out whole night. She endured many things alone. She was not happy with her life though she had everything, money, name, fame, success, luxury the only thing she lacked was parental love and support...

Izna was not like that , this change came after she migrated to Australia. Her parents became really busy with their respective jobs so they could barely give Izna time and love as well. Izna wanted to create her own personality and be someone in life ever since she was a kid.

But after seeing her parents gone away from her she felt desperate with life. Everything was so perfect in her life until her elder sister, Rumaisah insists that they should migrate abroad for a better job and so they might earn a good salary. Izna did not want to go but she was helpless.

After migrating to Australia, 5years later her mother gave birth to a baby boy, Ajmal after which all her mother's time and affection went only for the little baby. Izna was left alone but she did not complain even once as there was a lack of communication between her parents and her. She remained silent and watched everything going on around her.

She joined a college after her studies in a primary school, there she met different kinds of youngsters from different family background. Her best friend's name was Sheena, whose originality was Australian.

Izna would share everything with her. They were the best buddies and they grew up together and were friends for more than 5 years. Izna found the 'family' happiness in her best friend. She made Sheena the most important person in her life. They would have fun, roam and enjoy together.

At the age of 16, Sheena got a boyfriend, Terry who was 20 years old and soon the 3 of them were best buddies. Their gang increased. Terry was a type of vagabond but a really good friend. He used to smoke and Sheena learned how to smoke because she loved him. Izna being part of that gang had to learn smoking also.

Very soon, Izna's life changed, she no longer remained the same. She was not interested with religious affairs rather she used to go partying with Sheena and Terry, they would go to disco and at times Izna would drink alcohol and get drunk.

Izna forgot about her values and the teachings of her parents. She enjoyed being intoxicated and spending time with her friends. She got drowned so much in alcohol and smoking that she felt it was the only way for her to forget about her sorrows.

One night, Terry took her to a guest house as Sheena was not present that night and Terry took advantage of her being intoxicated. Izna had no sense where was she and with whom. Izna did not do anything rather she allowed Terry to sleep with her.

In the morning when Izna woke up, she found herself lying in the bed, nude, next to Terry and realized that something happened. All she was worried was about her best friend Sheena, what will she say to her. How will Sheena react? Terry played his game really well and told Izna that he fell in love with her and last night he could not resist himself and Izna fell in his trap.

Izna believed him as for her Terry was now the man of her life. She thought maybe Terry will support her for the rest of her life. Izna continue to lie to Sheena but she was not happy in doing so, she was actually helpless.

There Terry continued to take advantage of Izna and Izna realized it in late that Terry was only using her. After realizing how cheap Terry had been, she decided to tell Sheena about it because Izna was not the only girl who endured such a situation, Terry had been using other girls as well. As Izna approached her, she refused to believe her talks as for her Terry was only the truthful one. Izna was left heart-broken after which she decided to leave the college forever and to never meet Sheena and Terry again in her life.

Izna became silent at home and would stay in her room the whole day. She would not interact with others, it was difficult to understand her as she would not say a word.

Her parents got worried about her and thus decided to take her to a psychiatrist as she needed medical help. But Izna categorically refused. There was a lot going on in her mind. She thought why did all this happened to her only? What was her mistake? The only thing that came to her mind was her parents.

She did not get enough love, care and affection from her parents which led her get influenced by peer groups. For Izna, only her parents were responsible for the situation she had to face.

She was not able to differentiate between right and wrong. She went into severe depression and suffered from painful headache. Izna had to take anti-depression pills to get over her headache. She became a reserved girl and she stopped going out.

On the other hand, her parents were really shocked by her behavior. They constantly asked where did they lacked behind? Why Izna turned out to be like this? Then they thought about not giving her much attention and Izna lacked parental guidance that is why she went astray.

Her parents decided to change her environment and it was a good opportunity to take Izna back to her motherland where she would meet new people and who knows she might forget about her problems that she never shared with anyone...

Chapter 5 

Seeing Izna, Hunayn wanted to help her without knowing her problems. One night, nearly at 1 o'clock Hunayn wanted to talk with her and thus he inbox her.

At first, they were talking generally like sister-in-law and brother-in-law but gradually they became really close like best friends. Every night Izna waited for Hunayn to talk with her, sometimes she would be the first one to start the conversation.

Izna started trusting Hunayn, she felt comfortable with him and revealed everything to him upon the request of Hunayn. The matter that Izna's parents did not even know Hunayn now was aware of it.

When Hunayn found out about the truth he was shatter to pieces and he even cried thinking what might have led Izna to take such a drastic step. He felt so helpless as if he was destroyed himself. Hunayn could not understand what was happening to him. He felt maybe God send Izna to him so that he could protect her and change her life for the best.

Hunayn wanted to help Izna at any cost without any wrong intention.

One night, Hunayn said to Izna: "I wanna take you as my second wife and I take all your responsibility and in this way your sins will be reduced. Agree to it because I want to help you. I know you are unable to understand why I am saying all this but trust me it is for your welfare only".

Izna now realized how wrong has she been during all these time. She knew that Hunayn was already married and father of 2 daughters and she did not want to create trouble for him. But it was at that time that Izna felt she need to repent for her sins.

Izna then replied: " I don't know what to say but please help me".

Hunayn replied: " Make as if we are in the middle of the ocean and you need to get to the shore. I'll hold your hand and make sure that you reach there safely. I take Almighty Allah as witness that I shall guide you to the right path".

Then he asked Izna three times if she agreed and Izna replied yes for three times. Hunayn eventually fell in love with Izna and he even thought how was that possible because he never cheated on Zahra for the past years.

At first Izna thought it was her helplessness to be in such a relationship with Hunayn but gradually realized she was falling in love with Hunayn.

Hunayn knew now his responsibility had increased. Hunayn pampered Izna so much, he would bring cakes and chocolates for her.

Izna would come at Zahra's place regularly and play with Aleena and Aleeza & in this way she would get to see Hunayn. She would prepare dessert while going to Zahra's place so that Hunayn might taste and like it.

One day Izna fell very ill and Hunayn was very worried, he left all his work and went to see her and brought along some fruits and juice for her. Izna would be really happy and feel grateful for having Hunayn in her life, it was as if her greatest blessing.

On the other hand, Hunayn tried his best in keeping Izna happy and made her forget about her past. During four months they stayed like husband and wife virtually. Izna's manners changed completely, she established her five times regular prayers and would ask forgiveness from Almighty Allah all the day. Her faith increased in God and she was full of modesty. She changed her clothing style, her way of talking and she lowered her gaze when she was outside the house. She even started to wear the Hijab.

Izna was transformed completely and all thanks to Hunayn. There was smile on her face and she started loving life once again. Izna believed there was hope somewhere. Hunayn succeeded in his intention though he was guilty for not telling Zahra the whole matter...

 Chapter 6

Hunayn felt the guilt for hiding the truth from Zahra, he knew somewhere he was being wrong towards Zahra and to his daughters as well but when he thought that Izna is receiving so much happiness and she is becoming lively again he decided not to abandon.

Izna frequently visited Hunayn at his place and became really close to Aleena and Aleeza as if the three of them were inseparable. Izna was so young but she fulfilled her responsibility of mother towards the twins. She pampered them, love them and care for them as if the twins were her own kids. She wanted to have a place in that family and she even dreamed of it.

Hunayn did his best in giving Izna the position of his wife, he would do everything to please Izna but there Izna's only happiness was Hunayn which he could not understand.

Some weeks went by, Hunayn saw that his daughters really liked Izna and were so close to her. Even his wife, Zahra loved Izna very much and would consider her as her child, sister and friend.

Hunayn made up his mind that he would talk to Izna and clarify everything with her about this matter. He was so sure of himself now that he made a mistake but before taking any action he thought about making the "Istikhara Prayer" - (Muslim perform this prayer before taking any action and in their dreams they get their answer if the decision is good or bad).

So Izna agreed when Hunayn told her: "can you please try to perform Istikhara prayer so that you get the answer if our relationship will last or not". Without wasting any time, Izna agreed and the same night she performed it after Esha prayer. Izna's and Hunayn's answer were both negative. When they narrated their dreams to each other they knew what has to be done next.

Hunayn decided to let Izna live her life as there would have been no future for them together. Izna also agreed as she did not want to be a burden on Hunayn neither a trouble for his family.

They drift apart and ask forgiveness to Almighty Allah for their sins committed together. At first it was really painful for Izna to adapt herself without Hunayn but she somehow managed.

Izna never left her prayers as Hunayn taught her what is good and bad. She understood what Hunayn wanted her to be. And on the other side, Hunayn became really busy with his work and he did not keep any contact with Izna after their last talk. Hunayn resumed his life with Zahra and Izna went back to Australia.

Izna did not return empty-handed. Rather she took along mature and open mind, modesty, purity, lots of good memories, a clean heart with the love and faith of God, the love of a wonderful family and a husband.

For Izna, only Hunayn was her husband she did not want to think about any other guy as she was happy living with the memory of Hunayn. It was enough for her to spend the rest of her days.

She never asked anything to Hunayn instead she understood and saw life from a different perspective. She experienced the most wonderful feeling in the world and that is love. Hunayn did not use her, he only loved her so much that he did not want Izna to be punished in the blazing hell-fire.

To avoid any haram(illegal) actions itself that Hunayn took the decision of ending their relationship. Izna never misunderstood Hunayn's decision rather she respected it and went ahead with it.

Soon Izna started her course in Fashion & Design and was so busy with her studies that she started thinking less about Hunayn...

Hunayn was working really hard, and dedicated most of his time to his business. He would hardly spent his time at home as he was working on a very important project.

But Zahra pampered him, used to go and visit him in his office and would bring his lunch along. She knew how Hunayn needed her support desperately and she was always there. She fulfilled all her responsibility of being a good wife.

Finally the big day came for Hunayn and he launched his new product on the market. He was really happy upon receiving many compliments and he gave a short speech, he said:

"Good evening ladies & gentlemen, I thank you all for your presence on this special day. After so much hard work all I can say is that verily my success is only because of my family especially my wife (he looked at Zahra with a wide smile) who is my strength. Without them it would not have been possible. Thank you. Feel free to enjoy the party".

Hunayn was thinking about Izna as he was missing her and wishing she was present too. His mind was somewhere else. Zahra approached him and asked him what was the problem, why his face turned pale on such a happy occasion.

Hunayn then narrated to Zahra his relationship with Izna as he could not bear such a burden in his heart for so long for he loved Zahra more than anything else in the world. Zahra was upset for a while, but she was also happy that apart from her there was also someone who loved Hunayn so much that even made sacrifice for him.

Zahra held no grudge against Izna because the situation itself was weird. But then she tried to make Hunayn forget about Izna because Izna's memory was only troubling him and making him upset.

However, the news of his succession did not fail to reach Izna as on every news channel there was Hunayn's name, and Izna was updated with full information in Mauritius as she left her heart over there.

Izna was really happy and she prayed to God that Hunayn achieve more and more success in life. Izna was delighted seeing Hunayn after such a long time. She wanted to talk to him personally and congratulate him but then realized it would not have been a good idea because it might create more problems. She stayed away from Hunayn as well as his family.

Time heals everything, in this way Hunayn forgot Izna completely but for Izna she was Hunayn's second wife. She did not forget Hunayn nor she ever wanted to do ever so.

Nearly 2 years passed by and Izna shifted to Cape Town in South Africa regarding her job with a well-known company. She designed clothes for them and became really successful in life. Soon she achieved her goals one by one, first working for a reputed company, then a personalized flat with sophisticated furniture, an automatic Mercedes car and it continued till she fulfilled all her dreams. She was happy in her little world. She never thought it would ever be possible for her to succeed all these. She used to take her past as a lesson and moved on every single day in the hope of becoming a better person...

Chapter 7

Soon Izna took part in a fashion show held in London, she was very nervous to show cast her designs because many famous designer participated as well.

But then became quite confident after remembering Hunayn's advice that: "No matter how nervous or distressed you are, just trust Almighty Allah, close your eyes and take the name of God with a deep breath and you'll see how calm your heart gets".

Izna followed his advice and with full confidence went ahead. The show was successful and it was time for the judge to announce the winner. Everyone was amazed and shocked after the judge named Izna Farooqi as the winner of the show. She jumped out of happiness. She went on the stage confidently and held the trophy with great respect. It was her another goal in life.

Media zoomed on her, questioned her about her success. The only name that came in her mind was her husband, Hunayn.

She did hesitate to mention his name however she said: " I am today a young designer and I'm proud of myself, what I am today is different from what I was in the past and it is only because of someone (Hunayn) who placed his confidence in me and encouraged me to move on in life. He is my well-wisher. He showed me the right path and guided me and today where I am standing is all thanks to him. I know if he is listening to me right now he will think that it is only because of my hard work that I reached here. But the truth is without his help it would not have been possible. I thank him from the bottom of my heart. I also thanks my parents and my family as well and without forgetting my boss Mr.Sahir Ashfaaq for giving me the opportunity to present my work in front of the world. Thank you all for this trophy".

Izna took back her seat next to her boss, who was also a good friend of hers and smiled at him.

Then the party began, everyone wanted to take pictures with Izna and talk with her. Izna thought about Hunayn, and wished he was among the people in the lounge. Sahir then came and informed Izna that dinner is ready. Both sat down together along with their team and ate. Sahir knew Izna ever since she joined the company, however Sahir was also very young, he was only 23 at that time but he was indeed very successful.

Sahir mingled really well with her and they were as if good friends, because there were not much difference in their age. Izna never mixed her personal life with her private life. Inside the office, Sahir was her boss but outside Sahir and her were best friends.

And being in London, they took advantage of their trip and roamed in the city together. Sahir and Izna went sight-seeing on a yacht, which Sahir had arranged personally as he was a very rich guy from a reputed family.

They made lots of shopping and had lunch outside in different restaurants. They tasted different dishes and ate ice-creams. They visited many coffee shops as well because Sahir was a coffee-lover. They went to some historical sites and clicked some pictures. They visited museums and natural parks. They had great fun together.

And just like that one week ended and they had to return back to Cape Town, back to the same daily routine, work and only work...

On the other hands, Hunayn's daughters were now two young teenagers and they were going to college.

One day, their college organized an outing to Cape Town in South Africa just as a reward for those students who worked really hard during the whole year.

At first Hunayn was hesitant to let them go alone but Zahra convinced him that it would be a good opportunity for the girls to learn a lot from experience because they are growing up. Consequently, Hunayn agreed with hesitation of course but he trusted his daughters and knew they will not commit any sins nor any mistakes.

After a few days Aleena and Aleeza left for Cape Town along with the group. They went to their hotel first where they relaxed themselves.

There, Hunayn got some free time with Zahra and thought about something nice for her just to please her.

So, he organized a romantic candlelight dinner at home itself. Hunayn took an off from office and he sent Zahra out for shopping with her sister for the whole after-noon so he could make some nice preparations at home. He decorated the house with beautiful red roses and scent candles.

He wanted everything to be perfect. He even cooked dinner and decorated the table himself, he laid the plates and the yummy dishes which is Zahra's favorite. There was chicken kebab, salads, naan(bread), and ice-cream as dessert.

Once Zahra was home, she was amazed to see all the lovely preparations that Hunayn made. She was speechless. She ran to hug Hunayn and kiss him on his cheeks. Hunayn was glad that Zahra like it.

They had dinner together and lived that beautiful moment. They felt like they were young couples in love. Hunayn felt that these little things keep a relationship alive as it is also important for a couple to share some romantic moments rather than just sleeping on the same bed. They enjoyed those moments with lots of love.

There was also a surprise after dinner. Hunayn blindfolded Zahra's eyes and took her inside their bedroom and then unfold her scarf.

By her surprise she found the room well neat and clean and candles on the floor and a heart made with petals along with written 'I Love You' and there were scattered petals on the bed. Zahra hugged Hunayn and they both shared intimate moments.

There was no lack of romance in their relationship for sure. Hunayn wanted to have a private moment with Zahra and he succeeded.

On the other side, the twins were having great fun in Cape Town. They roamed the whole city and visited many historical places. Aleena and Aleeza made lots of shopping and one day they went for lunch with the whole group in an Italian restaurant and Izna was present over there. The twins recognized her and approached her with a smile.

Izna was unable to understand who were they. After an introduction, Izna realized they were Hunayn's daughters and she felt guilty for not recognizing them. However, Aleena and Aleeza could not fail to identify her...

Sahir was also present at the restaurant as it was a holiday so he asked the twins to join them for the rest of the day and took permission from the group leader.

After that Sahir took them to the best places in Cape Town and roamed a lot. They clicked lots of photos and they made lots of shopping. Izna bought a gift for Hunayn so that the girls can take it to him. She was really happy to meet the twins and she was feeling nostalgic about her past.

Izna even took them to a weekly fashion show where she designs for them once in a month. Aleena and Aleeza really enjoyed themselves and they were so happy that Izna has succeeded so much during the past few years.

Sahir then organized a lovely evening for the 3 ladies as he had never seen Izna so happy till far. He thought something special and organized a wonderful dinner in a five star restaurant near the quay for the twins. He made sure everything was perfect and he supervised the caterer himself.

Everything was in order and they spent a beautiful evening together, they enjoyed the lovely sight of the sea and those stars in the sky. Aleena and Aleeza thanked Izna and they even offered a present to Sahir and Izna just as a memory. After that, Sahir dropped them to the airport as they had to catch up their flight to go back to Mauritius because it was their last day in South Africa.

Chapter 8

Back to Mauritius, Aleena and Aleeza narrated the whole trip to their parents. They even told their parents how they met Izna and how they recognized her.

Aleena then showed her father the pictures that they clicked and when Hunayn found Izna and Sahir picture together he thought that Sahir might be Izna's fiancée or her boyfriend. He even thought that Izna had moved on in life and he was happy that Izna was successful and in great comfort.

Little did he know that indeed Izna had moved on but with his name sealed in her heart. He felt a bit complexed but he could not utter a word in front of Zahra as he knew it would not be appropriate.

After that Hunayn logged onto the internet and searched for Izna and her work. He was really impressed to find her designs and those wonderful fashion shows that she participated. He was amazed after finding that Izna has recently won an award. He was so happy.

While browsing he found out that Sahir was actually Izna's boss and that she worked for his company only. He felt bad for misunderstanding Izna and he was wondering whether Izna still loves him or not. Just then, Aleeza came in and handover the gift that Izna sent for him...

Hunayn unwrapped the gift and found a box. He opened the box, at the top he found a small note so he opened it to read it and in it was written :

"Dearest Hunayn, I want to thank you for giving me a place in your life in the darkest moments I was living. I also want to thank you for showing me that there is a reason behind living and death is not the only way out. Without you I don't know where I'd be. Thanks for giving and showing me the love I never got before. You helped me in any possible way and I appreciate it all. Thank you for getting me out of the hell I was suffering because Almighty Allah sent you as a blessing in my life. Thank you for being there for me when no one else cared. All I pray to God is that you stay happy always and continues to be successful in life. And last thing, we live only once, we die once and we fall in love only once in a lifetime and for me you'll always be my first love. I am not saying all this to make you feel guilty but rather to make you feel proud because without you I would not have been so successful in life and I'm grateful to you. Stay bless. Love, Izna."

Izna's words really touched Hunayn's heart. He felt an immense happiness and tears roll down his cheeks. He did not know what to say.

But he controlled his emotions, and his eyes fell on a little frame of 'dua' (supplications) for peace and happiness found in the box. Just then Zahra came in the study room and brought a cup of coffee for him.

Hunayn showed him the frame and the letter as well as he did not want to hide anything from her. Zahra was impressed by Izna's words, she never felt jealous but instead she would be happy that there is someone else who would always love Hunayn no matter whatever happened. She was really comprehensive.

There, Izna felt nice for expressing herself in the letter she has sent as she never got the opportunity to say all these things to Hunayn. Izna was feeling restless as well, she did not know whether Hunayn got the note or not. She wanted to confirm it but she had no option.

Izna never felt that she must acquire Hunayn, her love for him was so pure that she would identify herself as His Second Wife. Her soul belonged to Hunayn though she could never get close to Hunayn physically, but she really loved him. Izna started every day of her life with the remembrance of Hunayn after worshipping Almighty Allah. She would get great courage from that and could move on gradually.

Things got complicated when Sahir fell in love with Izna and proposed her on the terrace of the highest building in Cape Town.

Izna thought it was a formal meeting but she was surprised after finding so much preparation as if it was a romantic date. She asked Sahir what was going on, but then Sahir went down on his knees with a diamond ring in his hand and asked Izna to marry him.

Izna felt guilty for leaving Sahir and rushing back home. She messaged him an apology text and went to take a shower.

She was in a deep thought in the bathroom and her phone rang. She wore her bathrobe and went to attend the call. It was her mother, reminding her about the good news. Her elder sister, Rumaisah's wedding which is going to be held in fifteen days and the wedding will take place in Mauritius itself.

Izna's mother asked her to come from a direct flight to Mauritius so that the preparation get going. However, Izna completely forgot about the wedding because of work pressure and she did not even book any ticket and at that time it was very difficult to get the ticket. She was stressed out.

The next morning, she went to the office and Sahir called her inside the cabin, even she wanted to have a private talk with Sahir.

She went in, and took a seat while Sahir started the conversation, " Look Izna I'm really very sorry about last night, maybe I was in a hurry and I messed up everything. But trust me, I have no wrong intention. It's just that I really like you and your manners and maybe I fell in love with you and wanted to make you mine before I lose you. I don't know what will be your answer but even if it is a 'no' we'll always be good friends and nothing can break our friendship. I'll always be there for you I promise."

Izna was still thinking and all she could say was: " Well I can understand but I need some time to think, it's just that everything is happening so fast. I've just learnt to be independent, I want to take advantage of it. Please give me some time and everything will be fine."

Sahir completely understood and smiled while agreeing with Izna. As it was the end of the month Izna requested Sahir to grant her one month leave as her sister would be getting married within the next two weeks and there is a lot of preparation going on and she needs to organize everything. And she requested Sahir to get her a ticket for the first flight to Mauritius. Sahir grant her the leave on the spot and arranged the ticket. And then Izna invited him for the wedding and thanked him for his help.

Izna packed her luggage and took the first flight to Mauritius. She was nervous going back to Mauritius after such a long time, she knew she would have to face Hunayn as he is also invited for the wedding. And their house were not so far from each other, she knew they would keep meeting frequently. She was restless thinking everything must have changed by now. But she gathered lots of courage.

When the plane landed, her father was waiting for her at the airport. She ran to hug her father and she cried, it was nearly after 3 years that she was meeting her father and the rest of her family. She was really emotional. Both father and daughter then took the direction back to home...

Izna and her father reached home safely. She met her mother, sister, brother and other relatives as well. She felt happy as well as emotional. She then freshened up and had some tea with snacks made by her mother after such a long time.

Izna really missed all these things. She wanted to take advantage of her stay in Mauritius and spend most of the time with her family as she was lonely in Cape Town. In the afternoon, she relaxed in the garden while reading a book and she fell asleep on the swing.

There, Hunayn got the news that Izna was back in town. He wanted to see her but he was helpless as he knew very well it would not have been appropriate.

Zahra then herself told Hunayn that they must go and visit the Farooqis as they might need some help for the wedding. Hunayn agreed as the twins also insisted upon seeing Izna. The next morning, they reached Farooqis House and Izna was unaware of their presence.

She woke up late and she was in a horrible state. Her hair undo, her night suit funny like a kid and her slippers like cartoon.

She got down and was looking for her mother, but in the dining room she found the Sheikhs. Upon seeing Hunayn and his family, Izna realized she was in a great mess and need to get herself ready as she made a laughing stock out of herself.

Aleena and Aleeza laughed at her mischievously, Izna ran to her room and felt shy. Hunayn then asked his daughters to behave themselves. Meanwhile, Hunayn was talking with Izna's father about the preparation and told him not to hesitate to ask for any kind of help while Izna took a quick shower and went downstairs to meet the girls.

Izna was now a responsible and independent adult and she also was now more mature. She tried her best to ignore Hunayn as she did not want any kind of complications further in her life though she really loved Hunayn but she thought it was the best for her and Hunayn as well. Izna did not bother much about the presence of Hunayn instead she took it positively. While every elders were talking about the preparations, Izna, Aleena and Aleeza were playing hide and seek in the garden.

One by one it was each one turn to go and seek for the others, and at each time they were blindfolded. Izna was blindfolded and she was looking for the twins but they were so naughty that they went to hide inside the house without letting Izna doubt anything.

Poor Izna was calling them out and seeking for them. Just then Hunayn came in the garden to call the girls as it was time for them to go back.

He was walking towards Izna when Izna suddenly hugged him thinking it was the girls and she was screaming loudly " I found you! I found you!" But then she realized it was a man, and when she unfolded herself she found Hunayn standing in front of her. She felt so awkward and shy that she apologized to him and rushed to the living room...

Izna felt strange for hugging Hunayn all of a sudden and she was feeling guilty for her action as it was not intentionally. She was thinking how will Hunayn react.

On the other side, Hunayn felt a strange sensation going through his body. He feared that he might fall in love with Izna again. Hunayn went back home and locked himself in his study room and was constantly thinking about Izna, he was going mad as he was not supposed to feel for Izna because he was a married man.

He took a break from his thoughts and surfed on the internet. Apparently, he ended seeing one of Izna's fashion show and her award speech. Hunayn was shocked to hear the statement of Izna as she mentioned Hunayn's name but without letting others doubt about it.

Hunayn completely understood the message and knew it was for him only. He was in a great confusion, he was unable to understand what he should do or not. He was getting more and more feelings for Izna but he remained silent and buried all his feelings deep inside his heart.

He knew that if he shows his feelings he would lose everything though he might acquire Izna but he would lose his wife Zahra and his daughters forever. And Hunayn was not ready to afford such a great loss. At times, he wanted to marry Izna officially and make Izna his wife forever and at times he would really want to go far from everyone and stay alone.

He asked help from Almighty Allah to guide him and he found out his way that Izna is better off as his wife's cousin and not as his second wife.

But there Izna, was focused on her life and had nothing doing with Hunayn. She understood that not all lovers can meet in this lifetime. Love is not something that needs to be achieved at any cost. Those who meet their beloved are actually very lucky, but those who do not meet their beloved are even more lucky. Because the power of one-sided love is just something else. Love is all about giving and not expecting anything in return.

Izna knew that her love for Hunayn was true and she did not have to prove it. She did not want to create problems for anyone that is why she preferred to stay away from Hunayn. The wedding date was approaching and there was lots of work to do.

Rumaisah was forbidden to get out of the house and there was lots of shopping to do. As Zahra was very kind she decided to accompany them upon the request of Izna's mother.

Chapter 9

Izna travelled with Hunayn in his car as her father was busy in a meeting with the decorator and the caterer. Hunayn was generous enough to take them to the shopping mall. During the whole day Hunayn did not speak anything.

They did lots of shopping and they had to return back but then Izna's mother remembered an important work, so she asked Hunayn to get going and she'll come back on her own. Zahra thought she Zahra convinced Izna to go ahead with Hunayn as she had some payments to make and she'll be late.

But to convince Hunayn it was difficult because he understood what Zahra was trying to do. So finally, Hunayn agreed as Zahra was insisting too much. There was so much shopping bags in the car that Hunayn asked Izna to come and sit at the passenger's seat.

Izna was hesitating and uncomfortable but she had no other option. Then Hunayn realized it was a good opportunity to finally talk with Izna so he started the conversation as follows :

Hunayn: " How are you?"

Izna: " I'm fine Alhamdulillah and you?"

Hunayn: " I'm fine too."

Izna: "Good."

Hunayn: " So? I heard you've achieved a lot during the past 3 years and I'm happy for you. I even listened to your speech on the award function and it was quite good."

Izna: (with lots of shyness) " Well ac... actually ...hmm it was just like that."

Hunayn: " So there is someone in your life?"

Izna: " Oh no. Not at all."

Hunayn: " Then who's that well-wisher?"

Izna: (shocked and upset that Hunayn did not recognize that it was himself) "hhhmmmm no... nobody."

Hunayn: " Hmm are you sure? Was that not me?"

Izna looked at him all of a sudden. Then Hunayn stopped the car. They faced each other and Hunayn asked her about her feelings but Izna denied completely. She did not want to create problems for Hunayn so she preferred to remain silent and ignore this topic and asked Hunayn to rush back home as there is lots of work to do.

Hunayn did not force her to speak up and he dropped Izna safely at her place and helped her to unload the bags from the car. Izna was unable to look at Hunayn. That's when Hunayn realized that Izna was still in love with him and he was being unfair to her as he could not give her back the love that she deserves.

Hunayn then went to pick up his daughters from college and reached home. Even Zahra reached home after a few minutes and asked Hunayn what happened as his face turned pale, he was irritated and he was screaming unnecessarily at Aleena and Aleeza.

Zahra knew something was wrong so she massaged Hunayn's forehead as she knew Hunayn would be in pain due to stress. Zahra made some tea for him and Hunayn drank it and then went to rest in his room.

There, Izna was feeling strange as she did not want her past to haunt her and she even realized that Hunayn was much more happier with his little family and she had no place in that family so why talk about impossible things.

Izna concentrated more on the wedding preparations and she was also irritated. She would be frustrated very quickly and scold everyone who came across. She wanted to stay alone. She was hating herself for coming back to Mauritius and meeting Hunayn. She just did not want to trouble him.

Izna then thought about a plan how to make Hunayn forget about her as she found a sense of guilt in Hunayn's eyes while talking with him in the car. Izna did not want Hunayn to feel guilty about anything so she decided to call Sahir and accept his proposal. And she eventually did so. Sahir was so happy. Though his flight was scheduled two days later to attend Rumaisah's wedding. But he could not resist himself that he took the next flight to Mauritius...

The day after tomorrow, Sahir's flight landed and Izna went to pick him from the airport. Izna wanted to talk with him in private but at home it would not have been possible and in the car also Izna did not say anything.

Poor Sahir, he crossed seven seas just to see Izna and Izna was not interested in talking with him. He felt uncomfortable. There, Hunayn was feeling distressed so he went to one of Izna's favorite coffee shop and spent some time alone. Izna took Sahir to that very coffee shop without knowing that Hunayn was also present. Izna ordered for 2 cold coffee and Hunayn heard her voice just behind him. But he did not interrupt them.

They were sitting back to back. Izna started the conversation with Sahir and she told him everything about Hunayn and her relationship.

Sahir was shocked to know that Izna lied to him so that he come to Mauritius and pretend to be her fiancée. Izna was not serious about the acceptance of the proposal. She just wanted to get over her past.

Izna even told Sahir that till Hunayn is not assured of himself that she has someone in her life, Hunayn will continue to think about her. So that is why Sahir had to pretend to be her fiancée. Helpless, Sahir had to agree as he considered himself enough lucky to act as Izna's fiancée. Hunayn who was listening to all this was very shocked.

Hunayn left from there with a broken heart. When Hunayn reached home, narrated all the matter to Zahra as he was unable to figure out what to do. He was feeling suffocated and captured in a cage. He felt lost.

That day he cried like a baby to Zahra, even Zahra felt pity for him and wanted to help him. Zahra prayed a lot and asked help from Almighty Allah to help his husband because she loves him a lot and cannot see him in such a state.

Hunayn felt miserable for his deed but nothing could change the past instead he had to be strong to overcome this situation. He realized that his state of mind was actually not disturbing him but it was troubling his wife as well.

Hunayn was ashamed of himself and decided to compensate his wife for behaving wrongly during the past days, he took his little family to a nearby restaurant and look at destiny's game; Izna and Sahir came to that very restaurant to take her food parcel which she ordered online.

Hunayn and Izna met each other at the counter and both were silent. And then Izna introduced Sahir to Hunayn by saying Sahir was her fiancée and they would be getting married soon. Zahra who was watching them from a distance was able to hear Izna's words and then she approached her. Zahra asked Izna to come outside for a while as she had to talk to her in private...

Zahra was very serious and she began the conversation with Izna :
"We will talk frankly and please tell me all the truth because it is very important."

Izna: "About what?"

Zahra: "See Izna, enough is enough I've been tolerating all these during the past three years and I've had enough. Now please for God sake stop pretending and reply to me sincerely."

Izna: (shocked) "Hmmm...go ahead."

Zahra: "Do you love Hunayn?"

Izna: (extremely shocked that her face turn pale) "What? Why? I mean what are you saying and what do you mean?"

Izna was unaware that Hunayn narrated the whole story to Zahra, she thought Hunayn would keep it as a secret but she was not angry. Instead she respected Hunayn more than before.

But she did not want to create problem so she said to Zahra:
"No I don't love him, actually Sahir who is inside, my boss is actually my fiancée and we'll be getting married soon so where does this question arise?"

Zahra: "Izna please for God sake don't lie to me as I know all the truth but just once, only once I want to hear it from you."

Izna unwantedly had to split out all the truth and she narrated Zahra since the beginning till now and all her love for Hunayn. She expressed herself and even asked Zahra for forgiveness. She did accept the fact that she will bring everything back to track.

Zahra even informed Izna about the truth of her fake plan. Izna was shocked as Sahir and Hunayn were inside and don't know what lie Sahir narrated, he might have made a fool out of himself in front of Hunayn. For the very first time Izna felt sorry for loving Hunayn. She was constantly asking forgiveness to Zahra.

Zahra finally spoke up and said that she was actually lucky that someone else loves his husband more than her. Izna was speechless. Just then Sahir came out and ask Izna if they can go back.

Izna was about to cry but she handled herself until she reached home and pour every tear out. She was unable to understand what she needed to do. She just wanted to scream and break everything. Sahir knocked at her door, and she scream out: "Whosoever is it just leave me alone for a while."

But Sahir was stubborn and stepped inside...

Sahir offered Izna his handkerchief and asked her to wipe off her tears as she does not look beautiful while crying.

Izna couldn't bear so much pain, she hugged Sahir and cried out loudly. Izna and Sahir agreed on the fact that it is of no use to continue with this acting anymore as Hunayn knows everything. They share a silent moment until Rumaisah came looking for Izna and Sahir went outside.

Rumaisah wanted to spend some last moments with her sister. They were talking about their lovely childhood memories which made Izna's mood a little better until both cried together for getting separated soon. Then Rumaisah asked for forgiveness to Izna if ever she has hurt her in any way or the other.

Chapter 10

They both slept in the same room cuddling each other like they used to do before their migration to Australia. The next morning, their mother came to wake them up by screaming loudly. Both woke up and laughed at their mother and nodded their head in a no sign as their mother would never change her manner of screaming early in the morning.

They got ready fast because there was lots of work to do as in the evening the 'Mehendi' ceremony would take place. Izna paid great attention to every single details whether be it the decorations, the food or the seat arrangements. Sahir also helped Izna a lot with the preparations.

Shortly, the ceremony started and Izna went to get ready. She wore a beautiful navy blue lehenga and on top her hijab. She looked really pretty just like a heavenly fairy.

Both Sahir and Hunayn was stunned after seeing her, she went straight to meet Sahir and asked how was she looking like. Sahir couldn't take his eyes off her and offered her a rose which was among the bouquet decorations. Izna thanked him.

On the other side, Hunayn felt complexed, he did look at Izna and smiled at her. Izna also smiled back without any grudges. Aleena and Aleeza ran towards Izna and complimented her for being so lovely. At dinner time, everyone ate in peace and Izna made sure the food was tasty.

Then the bride came in the pavilion and she looked really beautiful with her green saree, a gorgeous pearl 'maang tikka' and her make-up done by a professional.

Rumaisah was shining and her smile added more values to her beauty. She sat on the swing found on the stage. The ceremony went on very well all thanks to every single person present over there. Rumaisah was also happy that her mehendi function went on in a good way and the guests were really satisfied with the service.

When everyone left, only the Sheikhs remained to help the Farooqis. After tidying up every mess, everyone gathered in the garden and Izna brought coffee for them. They drank happily and discuss among themselves. Everything went on smoothly and then the Farooqis bid the Sheikhs goodbye. Everyone was very tired.

The next morning when Izna woke up, there was a chaos in the house. Everyone was disturbed and upon asking they replied that some items are missing. It was very important to buy them as they'll be using those items during the wedding ceremony which will start shortly.

Izna then asked what is the matter, anyone can just go and buy them from a shop. But the problem was that neither the bride nor her parents can go out on the wedding day. So finally, Izna asked everyone to calm down as she'll go and buy those things. She took her car and went to the nearby supermarket.

After buying every item asked by her mother, Izna was finally at the counter and suddenly she remembered an event when once she came to this very supermarket with the Sheikhs and Zahra did not bring her phone along, Hunayn was nowhere to be found thus Zahra told Izna to call Hunayn and asked him to come at counter number five.

She phoned him and said: "Where are you exactly, your wife is looking for you". And mischievously Hunayn replied: " Which wife? The first one or the second one".
Izna was even shy and had such a wide smile on her face at that time. She then replied : "Come quickly at the counter number five" and then she hanged on.

She came back to reality when the cashier told her how much she needed to pay. She was feeling really nostalgic and she missed those little moments so hard.

On her way back, she decided to drop in a shop and buy a gift for her sister on the occasion of her wedding. She returned home and handed all the items to her mother. After that she went to see her sister Rumaisah and congratulated her for her wedding. She even gifted her a beautiful necklace set with earrings and kissed her on her cheeks. And there was another gift for her, a designed veil which Izna had designed herself but was not yet in the market.

Rumaisah was really touched by Izna's gesture. She thanked Izna with tears in her eyes and she started to cry as she will go away from them forever now. Then Izna told her not to shed tears as it is a happy occasion.

After that Rumaisah had to get ready as the time was approaching for the Nikah (wedding ceremony). Even Izna went to get ready. She wore that very beautiful Punjabi Suit in beige and black color with her Dupatta on the side shoulder, her black shiny hijab and on top a bridal head piece, her black high heels and her smoky and golden shimmering eye make-up. She looked stunning and gorgeous.

Even Rumaisah looked very pretty just like a fairy. She was the most beautiful bride in the whole world as her mother told her. The Nikah ceremony went well, Rumaisah was now officially married after two years of engagement with Ali Saeed. Rumaisah was now Mrs.Saeed. Everyone was happy and had a great time at the Walima.

Hunayn was also present. Even Hunayn was feeling nostalgic as once there was a wedding ceremony where Izna was also present. And that day Izna waited for Hunayn to have lunch. As usual Zahra does not have her meal without Hunayn and that day Izna jokingly said to Zahra that she is waiting for Hunayn too. And after a few minutes, Hunayn came with his and Zahra's plate. Izna was hurt as she wanted to have lunch with Hunayn. She then went to take her plate and sat face to face to Hunayn. Then Hunayn felt guilty for forgetting that Izna was actually waiting for him. With his face gesture it seems he was ashamed but Izna reassured him that it's okay.

Hunayn's nostalgic thoughts got scattered when his daughters came to him and asked for the permission to have dessert. He allowed them and went outside the marquis to smoke as he had to free himself from this thought. Hunayn was a smoker, this was his only bad habits which he had once promised to Izna that he'll stop but till today he did not stop.

After the Walima, it was time for Rumaisah's rukhsati(farewell). Everyone cried endlessly as Rumaisah was their favorite, Izna also cried for her sister's farewell. No matter how much Rumaisah has hurt Izna but she always forgave her as she knew Rumaisah was not that mature.

After the departure of Rumaisah, everyone sat down and a bit upset. To cheer them up, Izna started to joke around here and there. And Sahir helped her too. They were imitating and teasing everyone until it was time for the remaining guests to get going...

Chapter 11

The next morning it was time to clean the whole mess made out during the wedding. Izna was extremely tired and she woke up very late. Eventually she really gave her best in not lacking anything during the wedding preparations.

As she woke up, the decorators came to take their decorations, chairs, tables, utensils and everything they rented them. And Izna personally paid them their due money. Everything got cleared out and Sahir had to go back to Cape Town as there was lots of work pending and need to be completed on time.

So he went back by the afternoon flight, Izna went to drop him.In the car, they had a little conversation.

Izna: "Thank you so much Sahir for taking time out and coming here to attend my sister's wedding. Thanks a lot and I'm very sorry that I lied to you and you left all your work pending so you could enjoy our would be new relationship. But I'm really sorry and now you know the whole truth and I know you'll understand me."

Sahir: "First of all know something really well, there should be no sorry and no thank you in friendship so better keep it for yourself. And secondly it was my pleasure to attend this wedding as I always had the curiosity of knowing how Mauritian wedding takes place especially for the Muslims. And last but not the least, whatever you said just forget it. You are my best friend and I understand the fact that you needed someone at that time. And I feel really honored that you actually remember me first. That's enough for me."

Izna: "Oh Sahir! Why are you so sweet dear? You are such a darling and you're very nice. Stay happy always because you deserve it. And I'm actually very lucky to have a boss and a friend like you."

Sahir: "Forget about being your boss, that's only in the office and not outside. I really like to be with you. You're a fun-loving lady and anyone would fall in love with you."

Izna: (shy) "Oh really! So, you love me hmm..."

Sahir: (feeling awkward and uncomfortable as if Izna is mocking his feelings) "euhmm actually..."

Izna: "Okay don't get embarrassed I'm just teasing you. And yeah don't you worry I will not let these events affect our friendship because you mean a lot to me and I really like you from the bottom of my heart."

Sahir: (feeling a bit special and in a humorous way) "What? You like me. Oh My God. Not bad hmm."

Izna: (laughing and nodding her head in a 'yes' sign)

Sahir: "So when will you be coming back to Cape Town?"

Izna: (in a serious voice) "Actually my flight is scheduled in two weeks time, till then I can spend some quality time with my parents and my brother. It's been a long time since we actually met like this. But I promise your work will not suffer because of me. We'll keep contact and I will keep you updated."

Sahir: "Oh shut up. Do you think I'm that cruel to make you work on your holiday. And by the way you are officially on holidays and I have no right to give you works so just keep quiet and enjoy your stay."

Izna: "Alright Mr.Ashfaaq you won. Okay, no one can argue against you. And yeah once again thanks a lot."

And they finally reached the airport, Izna helped Sahir with the luggage and all. She accompanied him till the gate and they bid farewell to each other and don't know what came in Sahir's mind that he kissed Izna on her left cheeks.

Izna felt current running in her body and she felt shy. Then she said goodbye to Sahir as he boarded his flight and then Izna went back home.

Back home, she found everything in order. She was happy that everything went on well. She went to see her parents who were missing Rumaisah and she tried her best to cheer them up. She decided to cook something good for them, she made some Italian pasta for them which they really enjoyed.

She then took them for a movie and they had a great time. They made some shopping and Izna even took them out for dinner in a restaurant.

Even though she stayed away from her parents because of her job but she was really responsible and used to send them money monthly. But she did not have so much peace and tranquility when she actually spent money on things her parents loved.

She had immense happiness on seeing the smile of her parents. She really loved her parents and always wanted to see them happy. Eventually she succeeded...

Chapter 12

Two days later, Izna was not really feeling good so she decided to visit a doctor. She was unsure whether it is because of tiresome or any other disease. Izna had been constantly sick for the past few months but she never took it seriously nor did she ever bothered to visit a doctor. She used to take medicines and ignored her disease. She would think it was merely a slight fever or cold. But this time it was serious because she could not bear the pains.

 As soon as she went into the doctor's cabin and explained her problem after which she was asked to go for some immediate tests. She did exactly as the doctor told her though she was very stressed out. She was in a state of shock. She did not know what would be in the reports and on top of that that the way Dr.Omar behaved indicates some serious matter.

After half an hour, when Izna's reports came she was asked to come in Dr.Omar's cabin once again. The world stood still when the doctor announced her that she was actually suffering from blood cancer and it was the last stage. She was speechless. It seems like the whole world was collapsing in front of her. She went into a big shock. Dr.Omar tried to talk with her but she burst into tears.

Then an oncologist came to see Izna, Dr.Zaid , he made Izna comfortable and tried to reason her by giving her some hope that maybe she will be fine. But Izna knew it was all false and she would not live longer now. Even Dr.Zaid was so shock to know that such a young lady was suffering from such a cruel disease. Then he found out that Izna's grandmother also was a cancer patient and it was hereditary problems.

Izna was completely broken. She walked out and found Zahra with her daughters in the lounge as Zahra brought her daughters for a regular check-up. And behind she saw Hunayn coming, she could not stop her tears.
Zahra saw her and approached her and asked: "What happened Izna? Why are you crying? All okay no?"
Izna: (silent for a moment) "Actually nothing, I'm fine. Don't worry."
Izna did not want to bother Hunayn's family and definitely not by giving them such a bad news.
Just then Dr.Zaid came outside and gave Izna her reports by saying : "Here is you cancer reports Miss. Izna. Please take good care of yourself."

Hunayn and Zahra was in a great shock. They refused to believe what they have just heard. Especially Hunayn he never thought that such a thing would happen to Izna. He was unable to utter a word, he was sweating so much and he was feeling hot all of a sudden.

Izna was unable to stop her tears thus Zahra approached her and hugged her. Even Hunayn could not stop himself from approaching her. He hugged Izna for the very first time. Zahra did not mind as she knew Izna needed support badly so what if Hunayn is willing to give his shoulder. He was just doing his duty.

Izna felt so warm in Hunayn's arms, she wanted to feel such warmth from the very beginning but she could not due to some reasons. She was unable to understand whether to be happy that Hunayn hugged her or to be sad upon knowing she had only a few days left to live. Hunayn reassured Izna that everything will be fine and not to worry as Almighty Allah is watching everything.

Though Izna had faith in Almighty Allah but she was stressed out because she did not want her parents to know about this. She did not want to hurt her parents. Izna knew that because of her, her parents had once really suffered. She did not want this to happen again. She asked Zahra and Hunayn to promise not to reveal anything to her parents until she does not gather some guts to tell her parents by herself...

Hunayn felt really sorry about Izna's disease. He had some hope that maybe Izna will be fine. Hunayn took Izna with him at his house so he could look after her much more closely and also to avoid making Izna's parents suspicious about anything. Zahra told his uncle that the kids were insisting that is why she is taking Izna with her. Izna's parents did not refuse as they knew very well Izna would love to spend time with the twins as well.

Zahra took great care of Izna, she would cook nice meal for her so that she feel at ease while eating as the doctor said Izna had to eat only light foods. Zahra would stay awake during the night for Izna and made sure she doesn't face any problem. Moreover, Zahra would give Izna her medicine from time to time. She was like an elder sister and a mother to Izna.

Hunayn there prayed day and night for Izna and he even took the responsibility of Izna's treatment expenses. Hunayn cared for her. Not only Hunayn nor Zahra but also Aleena and Aleeza took special care of Izna. And they would actually get up for Tahajjud (prayer) and pray for Izna's health. It is said that supplications made at Tahajjud time is never rejected. It is like an arrow that does not miss its target as Almighty Allah personally comes at the first sky and see which one of His creatures is awake in His remembrance thus Almighty Allah fulfils all the wishes of His creature only if it is legal and worthy. So even the twins tried it first time in their lives that too for Izna. She felt really special that so many people care for her.

But however, her condition was deteriorating day by day. Even the doctors gave up on her treatment. Izna also gave up the hope that she will stay alive.

She called Sahir and announced this awful news to him as Sahir was her only best friend. She need not hide anything from him. Sahir was actually shocked and decided to come back to Mauritius by the very next flight. He wanted to be by Izna's side and support her in this difficult time.

Unfortunately, he got badly stuck in some works and he could not make it so quickly but he promised Izna that he'll be back soon.
Izna said "I hope that you won't be too late otherwise it's over."
Her words made Sahir eyes moist on the video call itself. Sahir had to hang on so that Izna doesn't see him crying. He was also broken from inside.

Afterall Izna was his first love. And he could not bear to see her suffering like this. So, he tried his best to be strong in front of Izna. Sahir even sent a blank cheque with his signature on it and asked Hunayn to use it for Izna's treatment and make sure she gets well soon. Though Sahir was not physically with Izna but his mind was there.

But how could Hunayn told him that it was actually very late as no medicine no therapy was working on Izna.

Hunayn was also sad. He wanted to help Izna but there was no way out except to pray to Almighty Allah. He tried all ways possible so that Izna becomes healthy again but it seems extremely difficult.

Even Dr.Zaid said that the fact Izna used to smoke just amplified the hereditary problem of cancer. But at that time Izna did not take it seriously as she wanted to enjoy her teenage hood. She thought she was too young to get such a deadly disease. Who would have thought that she would be a cancer patient now?

Chapter 13

One day, Izna decided to ask Hunayn for something and without knowing what is it Hunayn promised on the spot that he is going to do everything Izna asked...

Izna proceeded with her wish and announced Hunayn a very serious and shocking wish. She said she wanted to get married legally with Hunayn and have his last name and she wished to be known as Hunayn's second wife after her death. And she wanted to spend 24 hours with Hunayn alone and that they should stay like husband and wife during those 24 hours.

Izna then said that there is no obligations on her wishes but she would be really happy if Hunayn fulfilled her last wishes. And in case, her wish does not get fulfilled she won't be sad. Instead she will cherish all those beautiful moments spent with Hunayn till far. Hunayn was going crazy and he was unable to figure out what he should do ahead. He was so shocked, he could not even say a single word and he walked away.

Hunayn told Zahra about Izna's wishes and instead of getting angry and create a fuss, Zahra herself told Hunayn to go ahead with Izna's wish and that she would not mind at all because she is aware that Izna loves Hunayn truly and without any doubt Izna made lots of sacrifices for Hunayn's family so what if she wants a little happiness in her last days.

Hunayn told Izna that he needed some time to think but he was actually thinking how is he going to do such a thing? Getting married legally? And then husband and wife relationship? He admits committing a mistake in the years before but he could never think of this. This event would create lots of problems. How Hunayn will face all these? What about his daughters if they come to know about this. Will they hate their father?

So many questions were going on in Hunayn's mind. He was in a dilemma. Zahra approached Hunayn and hugged him. Hunayn cried his pain to her, Zahra encouraged Hunayn to fulfilled Izna's wish and to not feel guilty about anything as she loves him and would never misunderstand him. Zahra acknowledged the fact that Hunayn also once truly loved Izna and she thought it would be fair enough to let them live like husband and wife. What if it is only for 24 hours.

Zahra went to meet Izna, she asked her to get ready well as tomorrow morning they'll be going to the court for the civil marriage. Izna could not believe her ears. She had mixed emotions, a little happiness and a little sorrow. She hugged Zahra and thanked her. All Zahra could say was: "Thanks to you for loving my Hunayn so much. Your love for him is true and I will definitely help you." Then Zahra went away without saying a word.

It was not easy to hand over her husband to someone else, especially her cousin who is like her sister. Zahra never had any grudge against Izna nor against Hunayn. She did what she felt was right at that time. She was also heart-broken but she accepted happily just for the sake of someone who had less days to live. And for the happiness of his husband because she could never deny that Hunayn still have some feelings for Izna.

It was now time to explain this truth to Aleena and Aleeza for they had the equal rights of knowing the whole matter. Zahra went into their room and explained everything from the beginning. They were upset for a while but Zahra told them the story of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and made them understand that having 2 wives is not a bad thing and definitely not in the case whereby it is going to be helpful for someone. Zahra explained to them in a very sweet way so that they does not feel insecure. She knew very well how to deal with children.

Though the twins were really possessive about their father but both girls agreed to let their father remarry as they also really loved Izna. And as their mother explained to them that they should do everything to make Izna happy. They were proud of their father rather than getting angry. Their father was also relieved after knowing that his daughters were not angry with him and he felt lucky for having Zahra as his companion in this journey of life as she was really understanding...

Chapter 14

Zahra locked herself in the study room and cried alone...

***Zahra's P.O.V***

Why did all this happened? How am I able to handover my own husband to somebody else. I really love Hunayn and I only want to see him happy. But how am I suppose to deal with this pain in my heart. Even though I'm willing for this wedding but why can't he see that I'm also suffering in all this. 

Maybe he is aware but he is also in a big dilemma and it is obviously my duty help him. Am I being unjust towards myself? Hunayn is mine so why should I share him? He got married to me and Almighty Allah is witness of our marriage. He cannot marry someone else like this. He just can't.

No wait, maybe he is doing what he feels right and besides he was refusing at first. I was the one who forced him to agree for this wedding. I should not have done this.

But still he could have refused. What am I doing? Pushing my own husband away from me.  But this wedding will be only for 24 hours. After that it will be over. So maybe I'm just overreacting.

Oh no but what if after the 24hours gets over, Izna asserts her rights upon this family. I would be left nowhere. What if she takes over my position in this house and she snatch my daughters from me? What if Hunayn forgets me and leave me alone.

God! Please help me. I'm so confused. I don't know what will happen next. I just need to freshen up and maybe after offering some prayers I will be fine.

Zahra went to freshened up and performed some prayers.  There Hunayn also was performing Esha prayer and he was crying to his Lord.

***Hunayn's P.O.V***

Ya Allah, you know very well what is in my heart. In which situation I fell. O my Lord! I really need you please help me out for only you can help me. Give me some peace. I never thought such a situation would arise in my life.

I know I'm unfair towards Zahra, she does not deserve all this pain and it is all my fault. The mistakes made years back are proving heavy on me. I should not have talk with her. But what's the use of crying over spilt milk.

I will try my best to mend everything again, all will be fine and we'll be a happy family like before.

What do I do? I cannot let Izna down, I've already promised her that I will marry her and I'm not among those who break their promises. I'm very well-aware about my duties.

God, I promise you I won't let Izna down nor will I make Zahra suffer. I will be a good husband to both of them and I will treat them equally. Just give me enough courage to bear all this.

Sometimes I just want to go far from here, but I know Almighty Allah you're with me so I won't go astray. Just continue to be with me and I will prove to be a good human being.

As far as my daughters are concerned, they know me very well and they know I will never take a wrong decision. I will not let them hate me ever. Instead they will be proud of me. Well I just hope so. Ya Allah please take care of everything.

I ask forgiveness to you if ever I'm wrong. You please forgive me...

Then Hunayn went to look for Zahra but she was busy praying so he went back to his room and soon he felt asleep. When Zahra came in she saw a different Hunayn, free from tension and problems and she could not resist herself. She was so happy to see Hunayn in peace, she played with Hunayn's hair and kissed his forehead. Then Zahra slept next to Hunayn...

The next morning, when Hunayn and Zahra woke up they found Izna in the kitchen making breakfast with the help of Aleena and Aleeza. Zahra thought it might be her happiness of becoming Mrs.Sheikh in a few hours that led to these preparation but she did not know the real reason. Izna told them that she had something to say but after breakfast.

After having breakfast, they sat in the hall and Izna made sure that the twins are also present while expressing herself. She proceed: (looking towards Hunayn)
"I loved you, I love you and I will always love you. No matter whatever happen I will always cherish your memories deep inside my heart.

Personally, I don't need any name or relationship to be known as your second wife. Some relationships are better off nameless. My Lord knows that my heart belonged to you ever since you've asked me for my heart. I've always consider myself to be your second wife and nothing can change that.

(looking at Zahra) Not even you. I would like to apologize for everything. At any moment, I did not want to snatch your husband from you. I have always wished for your family and your welfare.

So, rest assure because I have no intention to snatch your rights Zahra. What is yours will remain yours. I am not so mean. I've always love Hunayn endlessly and unconditionally. I never had wrong intention about him. He is someone so adorable that anyone would fall in love with him and I couldn't resist myself, my mistake.

All I ask you Zahra is not to hate me, I made a mistake indeed but don't make Hunayn suffer for my deeds. He really loves you and I love him. I can't see him suffer like this. I'm bind with him in a thread of memories. And only I have rights over his memories but you Zahra you have rights over him, his family, his life and his children.

You are very lucky indeed. You are so comprehensive that Hunayn could never have a wife like you. You are so nice and kind-hearted, you deserve all the happiness and I have no right to snatch your happiness from you, which is only Hunayn. I did not know that I would suffer from this deadly disease but I swear I had no intention to come back into your life, I wanted to make my path apart. But look at the game of destiny, I had to come in front of your door to die. Maybe it was a source for me to repent and ask forgiveness from you before I die Zahra.

(again looking at Hunayn) I want you to promise me to keep Zahra happy for the rest of her life and do not cheat on her ever. Keep her as a princess and cherish her. Love her and spoil her. She is worthy for you. Your couple was written by Almighty Allah very much before and maybe I was just a test sent to you by Almighty Allah. And I'm very proud to say that you passed Hunayn because you know very well that never ever you've crossed your limits. Maybe you went astray for a few second but you always knew what was right and wrong. I really admire you my dear.

(looking at the twins and bending down on her knees) And you two, you're the world's best daughters. Your parents would be really proud of you. You are my favorite and I really love you both. All I want to tell you is that take good care of your parents because they're one in a million. They are the best. I know you're very possessive about your father and I thank you for welcoming me in your little family.

(walking around in the hall) I am thankful for the few days we've spent together like a real family. You have all given me endless love and you have taken good care of me. Even if I die today I will not regret anything because I've lived enough and I'm really happy. Thank you all. Last but not the least, I will not marry you Hunayn. I am sorry. I don't have any rights over you, so keep calm and know that you're only Zahra's property. No one can separate you because you are so cute together and for sure you're made for each other. I love you all. Stay happy."

Unable to utter a single word and speechless, they all stood up and hugged Izna. Izna then burst into tears but Hunayn took her in his arms and was feeling really proud of Izna. He could not believe his little girl has grown up so quickly. On the other side, Zahra was feeling so guilty for misunderstanding Izna. Yet she was happy to see the thoughts of Izna, she was now truly mature and understandable. Instead of ruining Zahra's married life, she mends that couple's relationship and left many good inspirational talks for them...

 Chapter 15

Everyone woke up early the next morning except Izna, Zahra went to call her for breakfast but she was in a deep sleep. Zahra sat next to her and was caressing her hair when she realized Izna was completely cold. Her fingers were so pale, she gave Hunayn a voice and when he came he touched Izna and felt something wrong. He checked her pulse and found no beats. He stood still, broken and desperate knowing that Izna was dead. He could not control himself and just burst into tears.

The Sheikhs were in a deep shocking state. Unable to talk, just cries came out of their mouths. They had no idea that Izna would die so early though they knew she was in her last stage of cancer but they had hope. Unfortunately, no longer. Hunayn knew his responsibilities and he informed Izna's parents. They were broken too as they had no idea about Izna's illness. And Izna did not want them ever to know that she was diagnosed with cancer. Her parents thought Izna died a natural death.

Hunayn called for a doctor to certify the death of Izna and as the doctor stated Izna took her last breath last night itself. Hunayn was extremely sad but could not express himself. Izna's parents and Hunayn performed all the rituals according to Islamic laws. Izna was given a bath, then perfumed, dressed in white and then was laid down in the hall whereby everyone prayed for her soul to rest in peace. Hunayn carried Izna's Janaza and his heart was crying. Arriving at the cemetery, he prayed a lot and he even laid Izna down in the Qabr.

When he returned back home, he was broken and cried out loudly while hugging Zahra. Even the twins were extremely sad and they were not ready to eat anything. But Zahra took great care of them and convinced them to eat something. The house turned out quiet, nobody was happy but it was destiny. Izna had to die and she went far away.

One the other hand, Sahir could not come at the funerals but his sincere prayers were with Izna, he was extremely broken and he was alone there in Cape Town. He felt guilty for not being able to see Izna not even for a last time. And he remembered the words of Izna that maybe it would be too late. He really wept. But Sahir always wanted Izna to be famous, he decided to establish a Fashion and Design Institute in the name of Izna so as Izna's name remain alive. He loved her so much that he found it was still less but there was a kind of satisfaction in his heart.

After a few days, Hunayn went into Izna's room as he was missing her. He was walking around in her room and was touching each and everything Izna loved. Hunayn dropped one of Izna's book accidently and found a letter in it. Curiously, he opened it and it states:

 "Dear Hunayn, by the time you get this letter I won't be alive because you will come across it only after you have buried me in the soil and when you will miss me you shall come in my room.

These are my last words, a kind of eternal gift for you. I am not here anymore but don't be sad and don't cry. Someday if there is rain, think that I am there in the drops. If the sun troubles you in the morning, know I am there in the rays. I, wrapped in the winds will touch you and pass. If you wish to stop me, do so and I will stay at your lips. Whether I am seen or not just feel me.

As you have stepped on the threshold of my heart, I have written my life in your name. Like clouds, you have created a shade over me. Like rains, you have drenched me in joys. Like storm, you have blown away my senses. You have bettered my fate in such a way that you have brought a new morning for me.

You are my-and I am your support, I have lived for you. Don't let yourself weakened. Even by dying I shall give this proof. Our relationship is not that of bodies but that of souls. we are two bodies and one life, your and my story is like the water of rains, which rains like love. Whatever this thing that has happened between us it's love, love that has happened. When you were near me, this world was like heaven.

We came close yet the distances never reduced. Our story remained incomplete. It is not necessary that the earth always goes to meet the sky. True love is the one that does not get a destination. We are so much complete together that there is nothing that is lacking.

By meeting you I could not acquire you but I have surely understood the meaning of love. Love is not about taking but giving. My love is for you is eternal. Today I am with you like that sun whose lights will shine in every path of yours. And wherever you go, when any ray of the sun shall touch your face then like a new morning, I will be like a smile on your face, forever.

If not in this world then maybe we'll meet in the eternal world. I promise I will wait for you in front of the gates of Jannah and we will step in together. Just strive hard to get heaven so that we stay together. I love you Hunayn and I always will. Just be happy, I want you to remember me with smile on your lips and not tears in your eyes. Hunayn took that letter close to his heart and cried a lot. He felt his heart ripping apart from his body. He was in such a pain. But at that time Zahra handled him. Gradually their wounds healed and Hunayn accepted the fact that Izna will never come back now.

Hunayn would go every Friday at Izna's Qabr(tomb) and pray for her. His love for her did not end by the death of Izna but it would surely continue in the next world.

Hunayn and Zahra celebrated their silver jubilee. Yes, it's been 25 years since they got married. Their daughters took them on a cruise to celebrate their wedding anniversary. They really missed Izna on that day, especially Hunayn as he met Izna on his wedding anniversary itself but he was happy for he knew that wherever Izna is, she would be happy too. 

Aleena and Aleeza were two young mature adults and both are them were married in a very respectful house. By the grace of Almighty Allah they never committed fornication in their life, they led a life which their parents dreamed for them. Hunayn felt that his duty towards Izna was completed by marrying off his daughters as he always wanted such a life for Izna but it could not have been possible.

Hunayn was happy with his little family and he thanked Almighty Allah for giving him all these happiness. He spent the rest of his life with Zahra but Izna was still His Second Wife...

It is not haram to fall in love, what you do with that love is what makes it halal or haram. Everyone falls in love but only the strong one can keep it halal.

Youngsters often makes mistake in their life and they tend to go astray. Sometimes parents lose control over them but somewhere there is an angel waiting to guide them. However, parents should always keep an eye on every activity of their child whether they are of the age of five or fifteen. Children need to be kept under supervision if you don't want them to commit illegal actions and also if they don't want to regret it later.

A married life is not always easy, there are lots of up and down but the strongest couple are the ones that stand by their spouse side in good and bad times. It is also easy for a man to go astray but a wife should always guide his husband and brings him back to her. Her love should be enough strong to be able to bear all the problems together. But still, a man should learn to be loyal towards his wife. If you love someone truly you should not give them sorrows but you should gift them happiness.

My Personal Views

I am definitely not a person who is for second marriage. Though Islam allows a man to have four wives at the same time but i really do not support such thing. As a woman, i would not want to share my husband with anyone else, either he is mine or he is not. There is no in between. While being married to a woman, a man need not to have the desire for a second woman. If you love someone truly you should be able to maintain the love throughout your life. Don't think that i have written this story to encourage men to have more wives or whatsoever. NO, this is not the case. Instead, i tried to show what is the difference between pure love and lust. And most importantly nobody is perfect and everyone tends to make mistakes! They are tempted by shaitaan and that is why it is necessary to repent every day.

Youngsters nowadays are so indulging in adultery (Zina). We are all aware that everyone has a boyfriend/girlfriend. But you must also know that talking to a boy is considered to be adultery. Now wherever you see young people they are in couples WITHOUT NIKAH. And i don't have to tell you what goes on when they meet alone. Is it right in this way or should one get married?
I tried to portray this thing that if you want to be in a relationship then nothing is better than Nikah, the legal way.

Men like Hunayn are rare to find, he is someone who loves his wife a lot but at some point in life, he went astray and fell in love with Izna. Though it was wrong, definitely wrong. But it was not too late till he gets Hidaayat (guidance) and he repented sincerely. But then there are kind of love that are within the souls itself and not bodies. Hunayn and Izna love was like that. They loved each other a lot but could not express it as it was wrong. They did not want lives to be destroyed. However, Hunayn narrated everything to Zahra. The latter was really hurt but she was also happy knowing that there is someone else who would love his husband no matter what. Hunayn tried his best to keep his wife happy. I agree that hiding things from your spouse is also part of cheating. But what i wanted to show is that human beings tend to make mistakes and what do we not see in today's world. Divorce, separation, fights among couples all these because of what? You think only the "second woman" is responsible. No! Actually, your husband is the first one to be blamed for because remember if your husband had control over his desires then this situation would not have arise. Just as Hunayn, if he wanted he could have divorce Zahra and live with Izna. But his faith in Islam made him realise he was wrong. Therefore, he distant himself from Izna. Before the death of Izna, Hunayn felt pity for her and took it as his responsibility to cure Izna because he once loved her truly... After her death Hunayn would visit her grave because she created a unique place in Hunayn's heart.

As far as Zahra is concerned, she is only a character and not to be found in real life. Maybe 1 out of a million. She is too comprehensive and women nowadays are too obsessed with their husband. She loved Hunayn a lot but she also respected his decision. She was a human, she was hurt to know his husband had another wife. But she managed to take out her husband from that hell and made him forget about Izna. In this story, destiny played a really big game when Izna came back in their lives. Still Zahra was ready to sacrifice her love her husband for the happiness of someone who had very few days to live. But yes if one day you find yourself in Zahra's place, you should fight for your rights rather than letting your husband drift away from you. But then you cannot force someone to be with you otherwise it would be suffocating for them to live with you.

Women out there whose husband have left them, do not worry. Just think as if he was not worth it and move on. I know it is difficult for you but it is more difficult to be in a cage and live in suffocation. You deserve to be happy and live this beautiful life of yours. Love, it is just temporary in this world. We human beings have created the concept of love to be able to survive in this world. But true love will only be known once the end of time is finally here. So why hurt yourself in the name of love? If your husband does not want to live with you anymore, let him go. You live your life and seek the love of Almighty Allah which is the purest one.

Now coming to Izna, she is a youth full of live and has been living in ignorance for a long time. When she met Hunayn her life changed completely. She was a new Izna, full of love for her religion. She was different. If Hunayn brought some help to her life, what is wrong in that. Instead i believe Hunayn will be rewarded for this good action. If Izna wanted, she could have seduced Hunayn and slept with him. But there is something call 'pure love' which happens to be between souls and not bodies. It was quite easy for Izna to have acquire Hunayn but she knew her limits and did not want to hurt the feelings of anyone that is why she decided to get away from Hunayn and his family. The message behind this is nowadays many girls fall in love easily and with anyone, sometimes not knowing the man is married or not, has a family or not. Love has become an obsession. If they can acquire it good for them, if not then they will move mountains to make it happen. Admist all these, many women do not realise they are destroying lives of others. What is the fault of the wife whose husband you've loved? Why should she suffer? And the children, would you want your children to grow up in such environment. You should not be proud if someone divorces his wife to be with you because imagine if they can do this thing to their wife, the mother of their children so what are you? It would be nothing to do the same to you. Izna was quite mature to not destroy the life of Hunayn and Zahra rather she loved him from her whole heart and never ever did she felt like she should get married to that person only. She was a silent lover. Her love did not hurt anyone nor caused trouble to anyone... At first, she was not serious about the relationship with Hunayn, but the personality of the latter won her heart and she just continue to love him...

Experts say a man who marries a second wife will live a longer and happier life. However, it is very rare for a wife to agree to her husband marrying a second time. Women believe that their husbands should not be shared with other women.

Men generally get bored with their wives after a while because of the monotony of married life. Women, on the other hand, do not care about that. The most important thing for any woman is stability and being in a marriage in which her husband is able to provide for her and give her what she needs. Some men do not like these situations; they feel desperate and indulge in extramarital relationships.

Many women can live with their husbands cheating on them but are unable to live with a second wife. This would be out of the question for most women. I do not understand how these women prefer that their husbands commit sins rather than marrying second wives since they know that an extramarital relationship is sinful while marriage to a second wife is legal as per Shariah law.

I have asked many women about this and most of them agree that they could live with adultery. On the other hand, many men prefer to get married legally rather than commit a sin. They, therefore, get married secretly and try their best to keep their marriages hidden when they should not be doing so. They do this because of their first wives’ selfishness and ignorance of Shariah.

I advise women to always remember that love does not come easily and no one can buy love or feelings. A woman who does not take care of her husband and does not satisfy his needs should not be upset if he decides to get married again. He will search for love and care somewhere else.

What I do not understand is that many wives accuse their husbands of cheating on them if the husbands get married again when in fact the husbands have done something legal that is according to Shariah.

Falling in love isn't haraam
You may fall in love with someone but always remember your limits as well.
Do not let your nafs satisfy your temporary desire just for that someone.
If you really want that someone in your life then make du'aa for her/him.
Ask Allaah to have her/him in your life. Keep it halaal.
You don't need to be her/his illegal lover or whatever forbidden relationship you wanted to have with that someone.
All you need is to control yourself from it through seeking Allah's guidance.
Distance yourself from her/him before hand.
Avoid fitnaa cause it will just lead you to zinaa.
Remember that the one you wanted to impress is in the hands of the one you disobey.
Falling in love isn't haraam only strong people can keep it halaal.
